You can set these blocks on-point with the On Point 6 inch set of triangles.
Other notes:
- The blocks can be used anywhere you need a 6 inch finished block.
- All Inklingo shapes and blocks are named with the FINISHED size.
- There are great instructions for sewing triangles in the free Triangle Tips PDF, including Flying Geese.
HST = Half Square Triangle
QST = Quarter Square Triangle
- There is more info about designing with Inkingo on the All About Inklingo blog, including several project files to use with Electric Quilt software.
- There are also several downloadable design books (half price or free) for Drunkard's Path, Dresden Plate, Storm At Sea, Sunflower, and Winding Ways, PLUS galleries of quilts on the website.
- Many of these blocks can be made with Inklingo in other sizes too.
- Monkey's Cheat Sheet will keep you organized with the printing and fabric requirements.
NOT COMPLETE!
The list of 6 inch blocks is INCOMPLETE and it will never be complete—because the possibilities are infinite!
This should get you started, but there are dozens more. I will add examples from time to time.
